GOEGrade of execution
The judges can give plus points if they think an    
element was well executed or minus points if they   
think the element was badly executed. The judges    
use the scale from -5 to +5 for this, as shown in   
the columns J1, J2, ...                             

The highest and the lowest scores are removed, and  
the mean value of the rest gives the correction.    
Each point is worth 10 % of the element's base      
value. The correction is called "grade of execution"
(GOE).

  -1.0 for each 5.second the program is too short or too long 
       (time violation)                                       
  -1.0 for each fall (a fall is defined as a loss of control  
       by a skater with the result that the majority of his/  
       her own body weight is on the ice supported by any     
       other part of the body than the blades e.g. hand(s),   
       knee(s), back, buttock(s) or any part of the arm)      
  -2.0 for illegal elements
